Aircraft Carrying US Defense Secretary Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window

An aircraft ferrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an unscheduled landing in the UK on Wednesday after a crack was found in the jet's front window, as stated by an official statement which stated that all passengers were secure.

"The aircraft touched down following standard protocol and everyone onboard, among them Secretary Hegseth, is safe," an official representative stated in a public statement.

The secretary was coming back from a brief trip to the city of Brussels when the incident occurred.

This occurrence is not the initial instance that a US military aircraft ferrying a high-ranking official has suffered technical problems.

In a previous incident this year, a US Air Force plane transporting the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was required to turn back to Washington after experiencing a technical issue.
